Since there are so many reasons why this could fail, it’s almost impossible to give a single reason. However, you could try the following:

• Double check your username and password (copying and pasting from the email to the textbox seems to work well!)
• Try resetting your password
• Play the lesson without logging in*

*Note that playing without logging in means you cannot save/load your scores and track record.

Double check to make sure:

• The username is valid (e.g. starts with a letter, doesn’t contain special characters, and is less than 16 characters)
• The username is not taken
• The email is valid (e.g. no invalid characters, has all the required components, does not exceed 256 characters, etc)
• The email is not associated with another account
• The Captchas match
• You have checked the “Accept our terms and conditions” checkbox
• Play the lesson without logging in*

*Note that playing without logging in means you cannot save/load your scores and track record.

Make sure the email you’re entering is the one you used to signup and you didn’t make a typo.  If you’ve forgotten the email address you’ve used to signup, then your user might be lost.  You can always create a new one though!

You can delete your account by clicking the “More …” button at the bottom of the screen while you’re on the playing field.  You’ll see a checkbox named “Delete Account”.  Check that and click “Save”*.

*You will not get prompted about whether you are really sure. One click and BOOM, your data is gone. Be careful!

You can request a new password by going to “More Options” and clicking “Reset”.

This is one thing we’ve intentionally left out.  You’re only allowed to use a password we provide. Too many people reuse their passwords on multiple sites and I don’t want to store such a password in our system.

Nope!  Anyone can play, even those who do not want to signup!  Signing up will allow us to save your progress and send you emails.  If those aren’t something you want, by all means please skip it!

You can skip the signup process by clicking “More Options” on the login screen and then “Play”.

Any email we send that was not initiated by you (e.g. reset, login, signup), can be unsubscribed from by:

• Clicking on the unsubscribe link in the email
• When you’re on the playing field, click the “More …” button at the bottom of the screen.  You’ll have a checkbox that says “Send Emails”.  Uncheck that and click “Save”.

No, we only save your score when it’s higher!

At the moment, you cannot undo a step once you hit “Done”.  I contemplated adding this functionality, but it got cut in order to release alpha v.1.0.  If you think it would be good to have, please let me know!

Each lesson is carefully crafted so that it will be of the highest standard and quality.  Unfortunately, that is also a double edged sword in that it takes considerable time to finish.  Given the time constraints of life and the varying complexity of each lesson, I cannot give a concrete timeline on when the next lesson will come out.  Sorry!
